Optus is planning to create a better-connected future for Australia. The company recently publicized a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS to support digital transformation by delivering end-to-end cloud services and migration support to Australian businesses.
The SCA will help Optus to become a leading supplier of integrated cloud solutions in Australia.
Optus via the SCA with a cloud giant will deliver to Australian business consumers new end-to-end cloud services, including managed services, consultancy, migration, and advisory, as well as risk solutions and security.
Under the new SCA, the company will build a dedicated business unit with AWS Professional Services. AWS Professional Services is a specialist team of cloud experts to offer consumers an advanced path to design new applications on AWS with an ability to scale faster as they move to the cloud.
Together with AWS, Optus will provide consumers a range of differentiated cloud services such as SAP on AWS, VMWare Cloud on AWS, and offer migration support for workloads to help ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.
The agreement will play an important role in strengthening Optus’ present relationship with AWS as an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner to provide complete cloud products and services to Australia’s consumers.
