Zyxel Networks, a network equipment company, announced that its Nebula Cloud Networking solution would be expanded further to include WiFi access point security service. The expansion is aimed to allow small businesses to adapt to post-COVID challenges.

Business-class security for even the smallest networks

Zyxel has formed the Connect and Protect (CNP) AP security service license for small/micro-businesses who cannot afford a business firewall. A network security service, the Zyxel CNP license integrates several elements that give more WiFi protection to users in commercial places. Furthermore, CNP provides reliable, secure wireless connectivity, such as video streaming, conference calls, point of sale systems, security cameras, and business laptops, for connected applications or business assets.

The integrated IP reputation filter blocks undesirable content and simultaneously prevents data theft and security breaches for connected devices. Application visibility, along with throttling, gives bandwidth a priority for business-critical applications. This ensures the optimal performance of business processes and ensures maximum network reliability.

Businesses can license the new CNP service, and it is compatible with Ztxel access points. There are two service versions: CNP (includes just the IP reputation filter and is well suited with NWA1123-ACv3, WAC500, and WAC500H access points), and CNP (includes the IP reputation filter and application throttling and is compatible with NWA110AX, NWA210AX, WAX510D, WAX610D, WAX630S, and WAX650S access points).

The Networking Platform offers flexibility for SMBs

Two new WiFI 6 access points have been added to a family of 80 devices that are supported by the all-powerful Nebula Cloud Networking Platform. The new access points, NWA90AX and WAX630S, will be available in the first quarter of 2022. They can be managed from a single Nebula platform. Nebula offers SMBs a scalable, high-performance networking solution that delivers a unified, consistent user experience for ease of deployment and management.
