Google Cloud and VMware, Inc. are deepening their partnership to assist clients in fastening app modernization and cloud transformation. With this, customers will now be able to use the VMware Cloud Universal program to enjoy the benefits of Google Cloud VMware Engine.

With the expansion of this partnership, enterprise clients of both firms will get better financial flexibility, options, and the ability to fasten their cloud migrations. They will also be able to modernize their enterprise applications in Google Cloud.

Google Cloud VMware Engine allows clients to transfer VMware applications to the cloud without changes to the application, tools, or workflow.

The VMware Cloud Verified and native Google Cloud service deliver off-the-shelf cloud infrastructure for business-critical vSphere workloads with security, resource optimization, manageability, and operational support integrated into the core service module.

Clients can immediately create hybrid applications in real-time once they are on the cloud, which allows them to be more agile. Moreover, the clients get secure access to Google services like BigQuery and cloud operations and can extend their current disaster recovery, backup, and storage services.

VMware Cloud Universal is a malleable purchasing and consumable module for accomplishing multi-cloud and digital transformation strategies. Now that Google Cloud VMware Engine is a part of the VMware Cloud Universal program, VMware and its partners will be able to deliver Google Cloud VMware Engine and other VMware cross-cloud services to allow their clients accomplish the digital transformation initiatives based on their deadlines with lower costs and risks.

There are multiple clients across industries like retail, telco, and manufacturing that use Google Cloud VMware Engine to modernize and fasten the migration of business-critical workloads to Google Cloud.
